I may be late to the party, but my new favorite iPhone app is Instagram! One of my personal resolutions this year is to take and display more photos. I  already do love taking iPhone photos and there are so many fun things to do with these little pictures that my mind is buzzing with ideas. Watch out for a tutorial coming soon! My old point and shoot camera was damaged on New Years Eve, so I decided to upgrade! It should be delivered tomorrow. I am really excited to share lots of great photos with you all. No more iPhone photos... I swear. Well, only if I am really in a pinch. Plus, I have signed up for a photoshop class starting next month, so I really have no excuse to post bad photos anymore.

Second, I am working on making one of my New Years resolutions a reality. I really want this blog to be  a better representation of me, so I am working with Tabitha Emma to make it happen... I can't wait for you all to see the "new me"!

Oh I am so happy I could just squeal! lol

Meet Heidi

 

I am a Baltimore City Language Arts and Social Studies teacher that just happens to have a love for paper. I started Row House 14, a shop specializing in handmade greeting cards, note cards, and personalized and custom stationery. All cards and stationery are my own custom designs whether they are paper cut or graphically designed. I hand cut, score, and package all of my cards and they are perfect to treat yourself or to give away to a friend.

 

New Years Resolution- I am working toward having at least 200 designs in my shop and would like to focus more on my blog this year. Sometimes with teaching, my blog gets left at wayside so I'm trying to fix that. I'd also like to participate in my first craft show this year and start branching out in other retail outlets. The ultimate goal is to be able to one day quit teaching! :)

Jess's Vintage Spots: Flower Child

When I lived in the city about five years ago, Flower Child, was one of my favorite places to shop. I it seems to go on for miles and they have loads of funky furniture, housewares, clothes, and records. My sister and I took a trip to Lakewood when she was home for Christmas and we had a blast looking at all of the decorations for years past.

P.S. We ate lunch here and it was deelish!
